Barns and Country Roads in the Autumn Landscape in Watercolor

Workshop emphasis is on a palette of warm rich autumn colors and techniques for painting barns and country roads found in NW landscapes. Susie teaches simple easy to learn methods that will appeal to beginners as well as seasoned artists looking for renewed inspiration. You will learn from step by step demonstrations each day with plenty of one on one instruction as needed.  Susie’s photo references will be available to use during the workshop or you are welcome to bring your own.

Water and Reflections in the Autumn Landscape in Watercolor

This will be a watercolor workshop for all skill levels. There will be a variety of watercolor techniques demonstrated including composition, using creative colors, wet-in-wet,  glazing, charging color, and many more. We will begin each day with a demonstration painting. Each student will have the plenty of time and one on one assistance when needed. The focus for this workshop is exploring the colors of a warm autumn palette while painting water and reflections in the NW landscape. Susie’s photo references will be available to use during the workshop or you are welcome to bring your own.

The workshop will have a laid back atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to ask questions or request assistance with their painting. Susie’s workshops are designed to be fun, very educational, and inspiring.
